Students, specifically high school students and college students struggle to keep up with school. Not knowing the best way to study, utilize time, or feel they understand their coursework. Students can get overwhelmed by their schoolwork attempting to balance a social life, and time outside of school can be difficult. Learning and studying apps and websites can help students, but few are as all-encompassing and personalized as StudyBuddy AI. Combining scheduling, coursework, study tips, group chat rooms, and mental health resources, StudyBuddy is there to make managing life and learning easier.  

From the survey we conducted, it turned out that many students do not utilize digital study tools much because they do not match how they learn. Around 36 percent of our survey respondents said they need better help with harder topics and about 28 percent want something that feels more personalized. Additionally, there is a statistic from Stanford relating that over half of students find homework to be too much which causes stress. There are a lot of AI technologies out there that serve as study aids. AI study tools are not a new idea. What makes StudyBuddy different is combining a multitude of techniques and utilizations of AI to provide specifically tailored study support to students. There is an opportunity with AI to narrow it down and tailor it to the specific needs of the user. Equipping the AI with everything it needs to give descriptive and relevant information back after being provided information about the student.   

There’s a sweet spot here because most study apps are just bland, regurgitating information back to you. Study Buddy AI is different because it uses many technologies at once, such as AI and machine learning. StudyBuddy does not just help with homework, buddy tracks how stressed you are and gives tips to help relax. None of the other apps connect with the user in this way. Tracking studies and academics, but mental well-being too. Our survey shows that 56.1 percent of students utilize some form of AI assistant every day. Students are already accessing AI and looking for help with their academics. So, we are proposing StudyBuddy AI; it will make studying more efficient and more accessible. In our app, we have not just one tech, but we are utilizing many. The two technologies mentioned above coupled with cloud computing, NLP, and Data Analytics, all of that is from the 4th Industrial Revolution make learning personalized and more engaging. The AI function of the app figures out how you learn best and then tweaks the content, so it is exactly right for you. Hopefully, in the future, AR features will be added.  Our main target market is high school and college students (both graduate and undergraduate) who are tech-savvy and already into digital stuff but are looking for something more. These young folks are all about mobile tech, social media, and tailored and engaged studies so they love things that are relatable easy and speak their language—literally and figuratively. Digging into the numbers, according to Census.gov there are about 17.3 million high school students, 16.6 million undergraduate students, and 4.6 million graduate students in the U.S. alone. That is 38.5 million potential study buddies who could benefit from StudyBuddy.  

Moving on to our revenue streams and how we are making the cash flow. We are planning to roll out a premium model with StudyBuddy. Anyone can sign up and get on board the basic stuff. Added features such as personalized schedules and advanced mental health tools would fit in a premium subscription. It will be $9.99 a month which is less than the cost of a fancy coffee and a snack. The app will also feature in-app purchases that give users more control over what they learn and how they learn it, which could range from advanced test prep kits to booking sessions with tutors or management mentors. We will also have partnerships with schools and colleges where they integrate StudyBuddy AI into their students' learning.  

Study Buddy AI is for students, ensuring all their needs are met. Not only considering academics, but mental health as well. No generalization, only customized learning tools for users. Building habits and methods of effective studying and learning. Not just information in one ear and out the other. Ensuring students feel confident and secure in their studies.
